Van Sales
Mobile sales operations - Manage sales from your van or mobile sales team.
Overview
Van Sales allows you to manage mobile sales operations where your sales team takes products to customers. This is useful for door-to-door sales, events, or delivery-based sales models.
Setting Up Van Sales
Step 1: Access Van Sales
- From main menu, click Sales → Van Sales
- Click "New Van Sale" button
Step 2: Select Branch and Customer
Sale Details
- Source Branch - Branch where stock is allocated from
- Customer - Customer making the purchase
- Sale Date - Date of the sale
Step 3: Add Products
Select products from van stock and add to sale:
- Choose product and variant
- Enter quantity
- Set price (if different from standard)
- Add more products as needed
Step 4: Process Payment
Record payment method and amount received.
Step 5: Save and Close
Save the van sale. When physical operations are complete, close the van sale.
Van Sale Status
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Open | Van sale in progress |
| Closed | Van sale completed and finalized |
| Cancelled | Van sale cancelled |
Closing a Van Sale
When the day's sales are complete:

Access Van Sale
Go to Van Sales list and open the active van sale

Review Transactions
Check all sales transactions are recorded

Close Van Sale
Click "Close Van Sale" button
4
Stock Updated
Stock levels are automatically updated
Best Practices
Stock Management: Ensure van has sufficient stock allocated before starting sales.
Daily Operations: Close van sales at end of each day to update inventory.
